Guides
Connect your tools. Step by step.
Your payments, books, CRM, shop and ERP each keep their own data. These guides show how to join them with hooksnode, one flow at a time. Most take less than 15 minutes and need no code. The business-tool connectors are in beta: tested against sample payloads, not yet verified on a live account. A Free project has one source and five destinations, and no mail sources. A Pro project has up to 10 sources and 50 destinations, and mail sources.
Book Paystack payments in QuickBooks automatically
Each successful payment settles its open QuickBooks invoice. With no invoice, Hooksnode books a sales receipt.
Free covers one gateway. A Pro project adds more sources (up to 10).
paystack → payment.received → quickbooks: record payment
Record bank transfers in Zoho Books from bank alert emails
Your bank sends an email for each credit. Hooksnode reads it and records the payment in your books.
Mail sources need a Pro project. A Free project has no mail sources.
bank alert email → payment.received → zoho books: record payment
Send one payment webhook to many services
Give your gateway one URL. Hooksnode sends each event to your ledger, wallet, CRM and notifications, each with its own retries.
gateway → hooksnode → ledger, wallet, crm, notifications
Tell your team on Slack or Teams about big or failed payments
Post a message when a payment is over an amount you choose, or when a payment fails.
Free covers one gateway. A Pro project adds more sources (up to 10).
payment.received (amount ≥ ₦1m) → slack: post message
Send WhatsApp or SMS receipts after each payment
When a payment succeeds, the customer gets a WhatsApp template message or an SMS through Termii.
Free covers one gateway. A Pro project adds more sources (up to 10).
payment.received → whatsapp: send template
Keep a live payments ledger in Google Sheets
Each payment adds a row to a sheet: time, reference, amount, customer and gateway.
Free covers one gateway. A Pro project adds more sources (up to 10), so the same sheet can take every gateway.
payment.received → google sheets: add a row
Show payments and invoices on the CRM contact
Each payment from one gateway adds a note on the HubSpot or Zoho CRM contact.
Free covers one gateway. A Pro project adds your books as a second source, so invoices show too.
payment.received, billing.invoice.* → hubspot: add a note
Add Shopify and WooCommerce buyers to your CRM
Each new store customer becomes a contact in HubSpot, Zoho CRM or Odoo.
Free covers one store. A Pro project adds more sources (up to 10).
shopify → party.customer.* → hubspot: create or update a contact
Put support tickets on the CRM contact
Zendesk and Freshdesk tickets add notes to the customer in HubSpot or Zoho CRM.
Free covers one help desk. A Pro project adds more sources (up to 10).
zendesk → support.ticket.* → hubspot: add a note
From a won deal to a tax-cleared NRS e-invoice
A won deal in your CRM makes a QuickBooks invoice. Each new invoice goes to the NRS e-invoicing service.
This flow uses a CRM source, a books source and an NRS source. A Free project has one source. A Pro project allows 10.
sales.deal.won → quickbooks invoice → billing.invoice.issued → nrs
Get low stock alerts from Odoo or SAP Business One
Tell the team on Slack when stock falls to its reorder level.
The Odoo webhook is one source, so it fits a Free project. SAP Business One is polled, and polled sources need a Pro project.
odoo / sap b1 → inventory.stock.low → slack
Connect an on-premises ERP with the edge agent
Read new rows from SAP Business One, Sage 50 or any SQL database inside your network. Send them out as signed events.
office database → hooksnode agent → hooksnode → any destination
Stream every tool into one Postgres table or BigQuery
Events from your sources land in one table for reports and dashboards.
Free covers one source. A Pro project adds more sources (up to 10).
your sources → * → postgres: insert event
See one customer timeline across all your tools
Hooksnode links events from different tools to one customer, by email, phone and tool ids.
A timeline across tools needs more than one source. A Free project has one source. A Pro project allows 10.
paystack + quickbooks + hubspot → one customer
Turn supplier and order emails into events
Each new email in a mailbox becomes an email.received event that you can filter and route.
Mail sources need a Pro project. A Free project has no mail sources.
orders@ inbox → email.received → fulfilment api
Watch a URL and act when it changes
Hooksnode checks a URL on a schedule and sends an event only when the response changed.
Watch a URL is a polled source, and polled sources need a Pro project.
GET /rates every 5 min → http_poll.changed → pricing
Give your AI agent one stream of business events
Send typed events from your sources to your agent endpoint, with retries.
Free covers one source and no mail sources. A Pro project adds more sources (up to 10), mail sources and polled URLs.
your sources → typed events → agent endpoint
Test real webhooks on your laptop
Run hooksnode listen and each webhook your project gets also reaches localhost, with no tunnel.
live events → hooksnode listen → localhost:3000
Log 3CX calls and follow up missed calls
Each 3CX call that ends becomes an event. Post missed calls to Slack or text the caller back.
3cx call ends → call.missed → slack, termii sms
